Is yahoo going to start chargeing ?

i keep getting ims or e-mail from friends saying to e-mail it to everyone in my address book if i want to keep my e-mail address at yahoo or they were going to start charging 10.00 a month for the use of the e-mail address has anyone got anything like this and is there any truth to it
